back to you

back to you

A Poem by Richard

the way you've looked since on the street

the walls, graffiti, tattoos in the heat

and the way they rumored bittersweet

and left you incomplete

the things you saw and what they did

the ones who had nothing but still they hid

your rhythm was strange, they called you shy

but never investigated why

it simply made us raw with rage

why i expressed it in this page

i couldn't come back to you once

not anymore

hated these obstacles of life but found out what i'm living for

and something just beyond our control

showed us what we're looking for

and helped us hold it all in place and just ignore

our last chance to rest from before

and when the feelings came pounding back to you

you knew exactly what to do

so you left

then i came back to you
