“He was a leaker” Which means -  He talked to the press or someone powerful. “He was a snitch.” Not so nice or politically acceptable.

Talker, Rat, Spiller, Spy, Gossip, Gabber, Chatterbox, Initiator, etc. etc. etc. All not so nice.

It seems that the American powers that be have settled on “LEAK” as the proper word du jour. They brandish it like a two edged sword.

It seems that if you’re a leaker your somehow only standing in the shadow of guilt. Now call that very same person a snitch and you get a whole new picture.

I wish I could snitch and still be treated like a hero.
