Hidden Away

Hidden Away

A Poem by Pauline Marie Daley

An oyster guards its pearl so prized,

Sleeping, shining, deep inside.

Hidden by water so high,

Untouched by us, floating by.

Water falls deep in teh woods,

Sun shining wherever it could,

Leaves dancing lightly in the breeze,

Beautious colors right on the trees.

A difficult trail up a steep cliff,

Yields a view it'd be supid to miss.

Watching as miles and miles away.

Birds softly float and sway.

There is so much beauty for us to see,

But simple and easy it won't always be,

The most amazing things are those hidden away,

So that then they will forever stay.
