A Radiant Dissent

A Radiant Dissent

A Poem by Perdition

Not of tile
Nor rune
Not in ease made prayer

Quantum isolation

Not in colors
Neither worn nor strapped
Or clever
Baskets filled in musky hull

Not of tea
Stirred in the rush and morning light of secrecy

Not of
Wood to candy floor

Not of sheltering
Simplicity
Nor a thousand wishes
Nearer to please

Not in painless guard
Aortic barb
Stuttering along in bass runs of mufti

Not of glowing young fauna
Cake-eyed immersion

Just us

Two careless spills of coffee
Awash in the leafy limbs of sundial

Spread into floorboards and future
Sips of prism
A light
Extending from darkness
And you

An absolute
Radiant dissent

Hello from across the Pacific,

The haunting and delicious melody of this one extend to the outer edges of our universe as notes pass through to others beyond...

Beautiful!

Alisa ;-)
