Stealing Shakespeare

Stealing Shakespeare

A Poem by Perdition

Before she awakens

Tempestuous in hunger

Mighty as a Scottish vision of Allah

Desirably I watch

A voyeur to these lips entangled in sheets and trance

Her coals meeting with wild dark eyes

Evidence of stilled breath

Before she awakens this world

I sweetly know

Always I will be

Waiting here

A smile for her candle of tomorrow

And yes

Tomorrow

Where we spend and spill our palettes

In brief ploy of intent

Hello again from across the very long way,

I think it's fabulous that one can find hope, for without it, we cease to live and merely exist in these vessels of flesh in my never to be humble opinion...

... for without hope, the heart fails.

Beautiful and inspired writing as always, my friend.

Sending you thoughts of everything amazing....

Alisa :-)

Can you write something that isn't wholly enigmatic... for, like... once? Your poetry always manages to disorient my linguistic sensibilities (aka "leave me speechless")... Every. Damn. Time. And in perfect honesty, a part of me lives for the continual out-pour of your prose. You, sir, have a kingly gift & one which I am entirely grateful to witness. Much admiration.

What a colorful palette it is. Flavored with destiny, peppered with Faith, may the eyes you have beholden in your dreams become the reality of tomorrow.
