Ink and change

Ink and change

A Poem by Perdition

It takes the life from a second

as all from night comes crawling in

I react and have the look of no one

       the hook without a wound

"Sow

    the landscape"

She descends

"Turn this unbridaled season towards its sun"

Then I hear these words again

bells of seam and choir ringing

  and the look burns colder

     change and distance taking hold

 like a festering wind

But what of the season of the soul

       I ask

            What of that pregnant heart

The unburied seed, simple and dry

           surrendering

And what

of our desperate need for deep and wonderful misery

It rolls off the tongue and the reading mind. Such a pleasant read.Of the 'unbridled season' and the 'unburied seed.;' of 'festering wind' and 'wonderful misery.' Its melody sows the landscape. Thanks for sharing. Frederick
