In time and stone

In time and stone

A Poem by Perdition

How easily it should have been

how sad the handles never turned

the waiting voice

unopened eyes

are ever in the shroud

Decisions are to opposition's past

conclusions to what is not

we choose or let by heaven's will

perceptions fall

expectation, to dare embrace of want

How easily it could have been

to break this weight between

to warm the lips from death

a word perhaps or two

perhaps a gift of yes

And the grave to life unearths its Kohinoor

Need, like others to tell you feelings have rocked an rolled whilst I've read your words.. twice. Emotions show: life or a huddle of memories has left marks. After all, life and all else leaves memories as well as wine spills - just as doubt and discordance. Take care, keep safe.
