Lonely one

Lonely one

A Poem by Perdition
"

"

I have known you

lonely one

minute from minute

right of my right

Hand against hand

we’ve lived and died together

a million and one tries

And where the river bends

I know what gleams you’ve claimed

I have found you

in my forevers

Day by day,

waiting for

eternity

to strike

I loved the language in the poetry. The photo was beautiful also. Maybe we must seek our river. Find our rightful place to be. You create images and thoughts in the amazing poetry my friend.

This is lovely, the words spoken with such grace and admiration. The imagery of,

"And where the river bends
I know what gleams you've claimed"

is just beautiful. This reads as soft as velvet.

Well penned.
