Rachel

A Story by OCT
"

An impossible woman

"
So confused the whole world remains invisible. Lost touch with reality. Her eyes dictate to her mind what should be her priority. A memory bank that holds nothing yet everything that will lead to her downfall. Blind to the society that keeps her captive, but that also feathers her pillow. She finds a purpose and also finds reason to live. I think therefore I am, no her life is but the air we breathe or a star in the sky. Death will come, but she shall not fear it. She will look and say whatever comes into her head. Her opinion is extreme and offends everybody but the dumb. Something has happened and it's probably drug related. A moment of chaos that separates one from their base. She has no reservations. She feels no God and finds no meaning to life. Craving love and lifelong happiness in all the wrong places. Obsessing over what joy she can encounter. She will find happiness at all costs, but it will lead to her demise.

The Authors words could have been taken from me. I have learned two things that have helped me, "Things aren't always as they seem, nor are they otherwise". Look with clarity and you'll find that many of our concerns come from within, and that we are the ones that feed them. Find the good and give them the food instead.

The second is "you can't truly live until you understand how to die." If you are a believer you will have eternal life somewhere. I am a anti-theist I believe we have but one life. the odds of any of us being here is astronomical. every step I take is a miracle. Life is impermanent, the biggest sin is wasting time.

Strip away desires and prejudice and thoughts from others and look at life with clarity and you'll find freedom.

There is no pathway to happiness: happiness IS the pathway.
