Reflection

What a relection really is.....

 Reflection

 

They say a reflection 

Shows your true inner self 

Many do not realize that 

They look at themselves 

In mirrors and such 

To put on makeup 

Jewelery and stuff 

When I look at my reflection

I can see inside my soul 

The mistakes I've made 

The people I've hurt

I can see it all

As much as I don't want to 

I must see that face 

Looking at me

Judging me 

More than anyone else 

A reflection tells you more than

A blemish that is on your face 

An eyelash that has gone astray

Or a lipstick line that has lost its way

However...

People have got one thing right 

It does show ugliness or beauty

But from inside.
