Dissociate

Dissociate

A Poem by Pierre Biscotti

I question my own lucidity.

It keeps me up at night.

Things just seem off.

Am I just mad?

I’m just anxious.

Anxiety drives me crazy

Or does it push me towards sanity?

What is real?

I’ll learn in death.

Then it will be clear.

Until then,

I’ll try not to think about it
