Glimmer

Glimmer

A Poem by Pierre Biscotti

I keep running into it.

That glimmer of sunlight.

I see it in the streets.

I see it in my dreams.

It’s not perfect,

But it’s closer than I am

What does it mean?

This is not coincidence.

Do I pursue the light?

Or live in the dark?

What are you trying to say?

Pursue?

Or retreat?

I liked your poem. To me it has a message of choice mainly towards the end. Such as should you risk chasing what you want or playing it safe. I may be wrong but it's just the feel I got from it.

Oh this was very nice..you tied it up at the end so nicely. The light, the dark...I say continue to run after it, full speed ahead!
