Heartbreak

Heartbreak

A Poem by PinkLemonade
"

Just something I wrote... please review!

"

When a heart breaks

It shatters

Into a million tiny orbs

Sparkling, shining

But hopeless

Glittering with tears

But with time

The pieces will rejoin

Become whole

Collect themselves

And the tears are replaced by

Love

Which is much stronger

And the heart becomes something

More beautiful

Than

Before

Very romantic and uplifting. The imagery was excellent.

i really like this i like how you take something as rough has having your heart broken and by the end turn it into it being a good thing when everything is stronger and better. I also really like how the words flow nicely with each other.

I love the concept of this. When a relationship ends and it's not on your terms... things begin to seem hopeless. Everyone tells us we'll get over it, we'll be fine, there's plenty of fish in the sea... Yeah, we know. Just let us cry it out. Let us hurt. Let us heal in time. Somewhere deep inside us, we know we will love again, but we're not ready yet.. it's not something you can force. When it does heal though, it will be "something more beautiful than before." If you learned from your mistakes in the past, it has to be, right?
