On Reflection

Living life

It’s a simple tragedy that

Living gets in the way of life
The sheer happiness of life - doing the things I like
The labours of daily living cramp
On living goes on life must stop.

And so consistently life stops

But possibly; on reflection
That living to be avoided - the things I don’t like
Is life itself and living and life
Are a simple entanglement.
