Painted home

Painted home

A Poem by Fay

One day I'll paint me a home
We're the walls are red
The floors are blue
And the ceiling is yellow
Primary colors that in the uknown future it will collide and create every existing color on the rainbow
I'll fill the nooks and cracks with baby blue safety
A calming sea that'll guard the troubled secrets and shunned thoughts of those inside my
Home
I'll color the frames in magenta and violet , colors that will seize the moment that blew the air out of ur lungs
and their vibrancy will
Keep it alive forever
My home will hold chidren of yellow
And our sun will pack up its bags and vacation to another galaxy because their laughter is illuminating the Milky Way
I'll brush savannah green onto my doors so that the knobs itself can invite u in
And if I can deem the impossible
I'll paint my windows clear so that my family can look into my neighbors yard and lend a hand when all they have is clouds of grey swarming their yard
The notebooks will be starch white and together we'll sit throughout our house and infilate it with magic
And the string between all of us will be blood red

So that even when our home of color crumbles to black ash
We'll have the scarlet string
A string of love
Of passion
Of moments of grief and joy
A string that can never be destroyed no matter the black ash that's thrown at it

Moral of the story is don't paint "me a home" or I will slit your throat.
