A Host of Angels

A Host of Angels

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Bowing to the King

In holy assembly,

As to Him they ever sing.

He being their only plea.

Standing in God’s Presence,

Basking in His power.

Humbled residence,

A host of angels in His strong tower.

In His mercy

He sends His Angels to us.

Granting hope… granting peace,

Filling hearts joyous.

Ever welcomed at His Throne,

Feeling love in completeness.

He sends them… yet not alone,

A host of angels to bless.

Singing “Glory to the Lord.”

All in bowed reverence,

All singing in one accord;

His glory evident.

How much love He has

For you... in times of trouble His grace reveals.

For He sends to your back

A Host of Angels.
