Now He’s Here

 

Nestled in a bed of hay,

The Christ Child lay.

Mary, His blessed mother,

Knew He was like no other.

 

A world doomed to die

Was in need of a sacrifice.

Holding her baby boy,

Mary’s heart must have sung with joy…

 

Now He’s here…

Now He’s here…

 

A void had filled the earth

Before His blessed birth.

Hearts in bondage, yet, His life had begun.

So, Mary’s heart sung…

 

Now He’s here…

Now He’s here…

 

I was locked in sin’s chains

And hopelessness was my stay.

But glory to God, I place my hand over my heart

And I sing with a joyous start…
