When Dreams Stand TallA Poem by Melinda McQueenWhen Dreams Stand Tall
Far and wide, Stretches the sky. A covering over all As dreams stand tall.
Reaching up to the starry host, Daring against the odds, to hope. Spiritual eyes set Until all is met.
Towering to the heavens above, Only looking up. Dreams grow and mature And ever allure.
On the ground looking up, Wondering if you’re enough. “Do I have what it takes?” You hear your inner self say.
Grasping at the highest stars No matter how far they are, Feeling their twinkle in your own eyes, They
become your sight. Then, once more, you reach far and wide, Beyond the world… beyond the starry sky… Blessings tend to fall When dreams stand tall. © 2018 Melinda McQueenReviews
