I Need Thee

I Need Thee

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

I Need Thee

(Somonka)

Dear Lord, I need Thee--

Need Thee to move mightily

To make right what’s wrong.

Please hear my cry and my plea,

I long for Thy sweet mercy.

I await Thy gentle grace.

My dear child, I’m here.

I hear your cries for My help,

For I am your God

And you are my own daughter.

Keep believing My power,

And blessings will I shower.
