Confused

We all want what you don't have...until you have it

Confused

Taking a cab riding throughout the streets of New York City

I look at couples holding hands

I look at mother's or father's taking a walk with there kids

I see a pregnant woman looking flawless

We all want what we don't have

But when we have it.....fear sets in

Makes us not want these things

It makes you think of the sacrifices

It makes you wonder...will you be married

It makes you wonder...will you be alone raising a child

You hold hands with your man

He tells you he loves you

He calls you just to see how your day is going

He brings a smile to your face

Or in this day and age....it could be a She

Just to have someone love you and care for you

After only caring for yourself and waiting to get out and enjoy life

Minute you have it....Fear keeps you from keeping it around

You become aloof.....You think your partner calling you all the time is corny

You become detached....Your "always" busy

Yet the truth is.....you fear what you see in others everyday

Confused.....Yes

Will it end......if you want it too
