My escape for the day...

If I could escape the world for a day

I would climb these ladders to heaven

I am not hiding or trying to run away

I’m going for short while back at seven

 

It’s early morning as the sun is dawning

And I am ready to embark on my day

Going before the skies start clouding

don’t want anyone to get in my way

 

Unable to contain my excitement

Looking forward to what awaits me

I stop to look out into the distance

I feel a calmness that bestows me

 

Everyone needs this one moment

to go and have some time away

The view up there is so vibrant

amongst the fluffy clouds I’ll play

No ones going to notice I’ve gone

to this beautiful place only I can see

escaping high amongst the clouds

is just right where I want to be

Surreal , imaginative, desirable and escaping into beauty of the heavenly... We all need that source of energy or inspiration from heaven to refresh our spirits and carry us through the day. Some people find it in mundane things but believers find it in their connection with heaven mainly in prayer or meditation or just simply longing to be one with the Divine...
