Though my heart is filled with grief

Gone to a better place this I believe

You left a legacy a man once wise

Left a stronger family bond suffice

Taught us a lesson on love and life

Showed us how to deal with strife

Watched protecting us from harm

Knew how to switch on you charm

You never did suffer any fool gladly

How you loved our mum so madly

Some never thought it would last

Carried on regardless that’s past

Lots of strength for me to carry on

Missing you badly that’s not wrong

To a tranquil place with waters blue

It is hard to fill the gap once they are gone for we feel our presence all the time. But we hope to be with them one day in Heaven .
