Wherefore Art Thou...

Young loves dream.... aaah...

Like a Venus fly trap she lays in wait

She wonders is this really her fate

Taking this one moment to reflect

Not knowing really what to expect

 

Wherefore Art thou her precious one

Her love is for real all said and done

This heart of hers can take no more

She loves him deep to her very core

 

Yet she lays in wait for him to come

Deciding now should she leave and run

Her phone rings, he’s giving her a call

Him:  “Why you waiting there, I’m at the MALL”

Her: "Oh!"

Intriguing poem and graphic. Lot of room to dream - is she the spider waiting to trap her fly or the fly moving closer and closer to the web? The question at the end leaves the reader to wonder over her fate. Very well written.
