To The Moon And Back

~

Render me speechless

no words spoken 

of abstract connotations

 tidal waves crashing

rising and falling

emotions soaring high

tepid gentle flows 

breathe inhale exhale

flickering of stars

set among the

grey black hues

glistening white clouds

  delighting in moonbeams 

shining so bright

darkest of nights

silver shadows cast

dance they might
A half moon

A full moon

our souls eclipsed

skin to skin

ready to explore 

 this sexual tension

so vividly real

 temperatures cool down

 dew drops appear

upon earth falls

bursting with pride

 flutter flies flip

deep down inside

igniting a warmth

a beautiful sunrise

 raging burning passions

unable to hide

our innermost feelings

we are attuned

our frequencies aligned

a wonderful sight

birds of paradise

ready to embark

seize the day

trace my heart

to the moon

bring it back

so I can

give to you

all of me
