Beautiful Rain

Sounds of the rain 

Soothes her pain 

Inside her brain 

Not going insane 

Yet can’t explain 

So much to gain 

Reaction no chain 

Derail but no train 

Her minds domain 

Unable to contain 

She cannot refrain 

Cheek tear stain 

Deep in her vein 

Feelings regain 

Needing to attain 

A love that remains

 

Her heart reigns

I have always found that the refrain of the rain can be soothing. Can help a troubled mind restore calm. Might not solve the problem, but can allow us to find some space. Thank you for sharing your work YB.
