Shadow

From her eyes tears drop,

From the heavens, rain falls,

Putting her sorrowful thoughts at ease,

goosebumps, all over her skin they crawl

The other half of her heart is lost,

Causing her much sorrow and strife,

Her one desire has come and gone,

forming a shadow in her life.

This poem is just brilliant. There are no words to describe how good this poem is. I absoulutly LOVE your work. It is fantastic. You do such a wonderful job creating a picture and writing such brilliant words. GREAT WRITE! Can't wait to read more.

I really enjoyd this. Wonderfully written, the only thing I would suggest is possibly finding another term for the word "life" in one of the last two lines. The double-up disrupts the flow a bit, but does not affect a single thing in terms of the beauty of this piece. Congrats! I don't even generally like poetry, but I loved this piece.

I begin to feel the loss of the subject. For who hasn't felt the tearing away of a loved one, or the betrayal at the hand of a love percieved.
This is a lovely piece.

The sense of loss is evident here.

So dark, so deep and so thought provoking. You've said so much in so few words. The rhyme is very impressive. It creates a rhythm for your poem and it flows all very well.
Great Write!!
