Simple delights in lifeA Poem by Princy =) These are the things in my life that I'm grateful for Simple delights in life… Like the resonance of the piano, violin, guitar and the flute, Like listening to your favorite song on replay, Like the chill of the winter season and the way leaves turn red in the autumn season, Like the feeling of licking liquid chocolate from a bowl, Like munching the caramelized popcorn in a cinema hall, Like the aroma of scented candles, Like the goal in a football game. Like the silly cartoons from childhood days, Like the gleeful feeling while playing with kittens and puppies, Like the calm shades of blue and green, Like taking photographs, knowing that it is the only time machine we have, Like hugging your dad just cause you adore him, Like singing in the shower, feeling like it’s your personal rain, Like eating homemade cake, Like caring for people for love’s sake, Like gazing at the incandescent moon, Like having a cup of tea at noon, Like smelling the scent of old books, Like being complimented for your looks, Like collecting quotes by various people, Like dancing around the house for no reason, Like giving hope to a few gloomy lives, Like living life to the fullest even though you suffer from dejection, Like wishing when the clock strikes 11:11, Like knowing there are a few people who still care for you and love you despite your flaws, Like breaking a few aimless laws, The list can go on and on, These few simple things, And the joys that they bring, Treasure them forever, As they don’t cost a thing © 2010 PrincyReviews
