Clogged Streams.

Clogged Streams.

A Poem by Priyanka Natesh

Shushing words, no longer my own
Ghostly apparitions, echoing wails
of original selves and slurred advice
While I bump along murky eyed
half humans, pretending all the way
Life eh? Is this it?
Groping after life in dreams?
clutching wisdom, my jejune babe?
Hope's immortal, the fighter
Why let go, it says,
Suppose, pretend, feign..

This is creativity... You include a stream of thoughts in a small verse... Great job... Love the metaphors in this work... Good luck

I loved the rhythm you used, as well as your use of vocabulary. It definitely painted an image as I was reading. This is very deep, I enjoyed it immensely (:

Easy to be clogged up. So much we must accept and live with. I like the questions in the poetry.
"Life eh? Is this it?
Groping after life in dreams?
clutching wisdom, my jejune babe?"
Thank you for the excellent poem.

trapped in a river of souls struggeling against becoming a mere reflection of those around you. Very well written, you captured the raw power of brevity.

Apt description.May I have the chance to think that are these the blocked streams of thoughts who try to bottle every emotion & does not want them to flow down.
