Death's Lullaby

Death's Lullaby

A Poem by Proxy
"

A song I wrote awhile ago.

Previous Version
This is a previous version of Death's Lullaby.

Have you felt like the end is near?
Because it killed everyone you held dear
Have you felt like those loose ends could never be tied?
Just because they died
Listen to Death's Lullaby
aa he cradles you just before you die

Death's Lullaby
Goodnight, Goodnight
Sleep forever and die
Death's Lullaby
Goodnight, Goodnight
Kiss your breath goodbye

Let his darkness caress your spirit
you can cry but noone can hear it
while you're off in the underworld
the one place you can't explore
Hear Death's Lullaby
and drift into an endless sleep

Death's Lullaby
Goodnight, Goodnight
Sleep forever and die
Death's Lullaby
Goodnight, Goodnight
Kiss your breath goodbye

Death's Lullaby
Goodnight
Sweet dreams
and die
Just a touch
and you're gone

Sorry for small amount of lyrics.

Reviews

A bit overdone, the meaning was spread thinly on the 2nd, 4th and 5th stanza. It could do well with motion and some compression.

hmmmmmmm , i love the repetition but i do believe it was over done in this case . the idea is ingenious but it can use some work :)
