phantom pain

O! that sharp pain pierced once again
This time at different place.

It is gnawing again
There’s no remedy
No pill, nothing to ease it.

Still it feels nice also
Try to stay still, no movement
To let the sensation stay in.

Pain though brings helplessness
It gives the feel how it was
Before it became a stump
The pain, the phantom pain.

I like this, we all have different emotions, at different levels, which affects how each individual reacts to a situation, one person could feel broken, whilst someone else could ignore the emotions and act as if they are unaffected. Or sometimes, we can even choose what we want to feel, but it comes back to haunt you, eventually. Well done!

Without the pain, we can never realize how to be happy...because only with pain we distinguish sadness from happiness. Pain is a test, and after passing it, you'll surely get the gift of strength.
