Just something I wrote when I was in a dark mood

I'll hold you close,

and stroke your hair.

I'll let you think,

I'll always be there.

And as your head

rests on my breast.

I'll be plotting out the rest.

Hold your enemies close,

and your lovers closer.

For someday,

it'll all be over.

When the romance fades

and true masks come off,

you'll see me,

your "true love"

and want to scoff.

But play it smart

and always be the joker,

then you might win the game

and be that much closer.

To the win,

the victor,

the only and lonely.
