Sweet Flower Lady

Sweet Flower Lady

A Poem by Simon Welsh
"

A Libra in uncharted design

"
Sweet flower lady
Can you make me see the future?
A path of stardust to a constellation
wherever our hearts may cross
Even in adoration
Feel my hands upon yours and
I will try to look into your eyes

A Libra in uncharted design
Wave away all the butterflies and
I'll see where we first met
and where we'll be tonight
Even in persuasion
You'll be as pure as Summer rain
still shining so softly upon me

Sweet flower lady
Weave a pattern from emotion
entwined with golden leaves
and carved into stubborn bark
Even in adulation
I feel your touch upon me
and never more will I feel as good

I really like this.

Every stanza is great. I can't say much more.

It's just that good.
