Different Times

Different Times

A Poem by heather
"

I wrote this after a break-up a month ago. What I say is what I feel.

"

In different times it was happiness

Joyful moments we spent together

Side by side forever

Friends at a campfire

Sparks flew way up high

In different times it was great

Laughing at the jokes

The presence that you gave

Was like sun rays shining bright

Down on a friend who loved you

So, so, much.

In different times that are today

I cry for you to stay

Not wanting to forget

What you’ve just thrown away.

I miss the times we were together

Friends yet so much more

Memories we created

Now are just a blur

Between my cry

Yet you don’t shed a tear

Leaving me in sadness cause

You left me

Broken.

A beautiful touching piece even though it expresses so much pain and sorrow that many can relate to so deeply. While it's sad to read, it's somewhat comforting to know there are others out there whom feel the pain of heartache, as describe so poignantly in this piece. Thank you for having the strength to share this, as you poured your heart into writing this. Far from sappy, rather a raw glimpse of the pain you've felt. You captured the heartache and feeling so well, I appreciate this very much.

you just dropped here a piece and here you converted some words into your own and captured too some joyful and sorrowful...moments of life. Nice flow of ink.
great theme.
