Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by Punkgyrl3

Quietly sitting on my bed
Earbuds snug in place
Feeling better than before
Happy in my space

Tired of the world around me
They are not my friends
Faking laughs and empty smiles
I wrote this chapter’s end

You may think that I’m alone

You judge and criticize
I finally feel whole at last
Free'd from binding ties
