Floating

Floating

A Poem by Punkgyrl3
"

From a sad day...

"

Why won’t the rain clouds move away and the thunder let me be?

Why does the sun not let its rays reach as far as me?

How can I make the morning breeze blow good things my way?

All I ask is that for once my happiness could stay

My heart is floating in the water; waves move me up and down

Without my small gasps for air, my body soon would drown

My soul is growing empty and longs to be refilled

I need to have the old things; the things my choices killed

No one has stayed to guide me; no one will be my light

All I have to go on is a whim what may be right

As the leaves and grass blow in the wind I’m only left to follow

Hoping the black hole under me will choose another to swallow

I really like this. A very sad poem but I like how it was written. The only thing would be coma placement. I would put
As the leaves and grass blow in the wind, I’m only left to follow
Hoping the black hole under me, will choose another to swallow

but thats just a personal preference thing. I just took breaths there. I am in no way a professional writer or good at grammer.

Nice work, look forwards to reading more.
