The Dragons revenge

The Dragons revenge

A Poem by Tati Teixeira

As the knight looked out at thr frightfull site that was beheld before him

400 Griffins in flight, all seeking revenge

Know he knew that the old Nephrite that had come by lamplight had been speking truth

The old Nephrite came in the middle of the night

He warned about the angry dragon Akron, who had been slain by his own hand

Who was being avenged by the griffins who seek the knights soul

The Nephrite had warned that the griffins would come in the middle of the night,

That falcons would come with aspens from athens

And soon so soon they would come and take him and every other soul to their dungeons

Were the dismil light of fires and screams of pain ruled the night

Then they would let all roam free, this was thei trickery, for they would make a hunt of all the souls that roam

They would pursuit  all and execute all

But the knight with a wave of his hand sent him away saying "No, thisis not so"

But the Nephrite insisted "The griffins will come to avenge their leader"

Now all this will happen because the griffins did come

The knight being in such a fright bighting his lip took sword in hand and declared "I am damned"

So the knight fell to the ground with blood driping down and died with a frown
