Daffodils Playing in the Sun

The sunrise peaks the horizon

Daffy buds tips the sun-kissed air

New life sways and plays in its environment

The day is soaked in warmth

The buds are accented by newly grown pedals

Their pedals are flushed with appreciation

Complimenting the sun's shine

With an array of yellow and tangerine hues

The sunset blushes

It showers the daffies with layers of color

Before the sun's descendance

The air is sweetened by the daffies

Clustered and scattered; the daffies are one

The moon shifts into place as the sun bids farewell

The daffies will miss the sun-filled air
