The children are the future.

So are you really sure 

Without a sure cure

That school be endured? 

Is it mandated?

Even though the textbooks are outdated.

The information have been replicated

Since before America instigated

The civil war.

What is going to school good for?

Are the children learning or bored?

What are the thoughts of those on the school board?

When face masks are published

On every school supply list?

How rare is the number 288,000?

Most COVID sufferers colored brown and tan.

Those are just the children’s stats.

Here is another hard-hitting fact:

Most businesses remain closed 

But school is STILL coming back.

Oh, there is money to be made. 

Stores to raid

For every uniform and pencil sharpener 

Government can’t refuse the offer

To monopolize on shoppers

Who must register johnny and jennifer

Or else they will be charged with neglect

What else do you expect from our “people-loving’ government?

We were told this was a free country

I guess society have gotten too comfy

With letting politics more sinister than Ted Bundy

Choosing our decisions so bluntly.

COVID or EDUCATION?
