Words of Encouragement

Words of Encouragement

A Poem by R.a.Tru

Take a break from our practice.
Thought you had it mapped like an atlas.
A scribe ready to shine through.
Outta our comfort zone to see a new.
Timeline of an evolution.
Open your eyes to a revolution.

Why didn't I see it before?
Too busy looking at the decor.
Found that guy laying on the floor.
Picked him up and hit restore.
Sometimes you hurt the ones you love most.
Sometimes the ones that love you the most,
Turn you slowly into a roast.
Grab yourself a glass because here's a toast.

To our future selves:
Trust yourself, no anybody else.
Discover who you truly are.
Grab hold and lift that bar.
It's never going to be easy.
It may leave you breathless and wheeze.
Hard work will pay off.
Say with confidence without cough.
Move strong.
You know where you belong.
It's takes courage to look inside your heart.
There's a light, you've known it from that start.
You have the fuel so ignite.
Never give up with out a fight.

Be the light.
You have the power to make things right.
These are words of encouragement,
Always stay true to yourself, permanent.
