My Hero: My Dad

We had to write a poem for English class about our hero and the first person that came to my mind was my dad.

 

He watches me closely

Ready to give advice

For anything I might need

He’s willing to pay that price

He’ll help with anything I might require

Whether it’s math, sports or even life

 

He watches my closely

He wants me to succeed

Eventhough I might not listen

He cares enough to still tell me

I ask him constantly for help

He sees things in me that I don’t often see

 

He watches me closely

Whenever I need counsel

He’s only a phone call away

I’ll ask and he’ll listen

He’ll listen and answer

As he works and gets stressed
