Childhood Crushes

Childhood Crushes

A Poem by Becca*Type2012
"

A poem I wrote when I was missing my boyfriend.

"

Childhood crushes
finally discovered,
and they became a strong couple.

Winter season came
she played basketball;
he did track.

Less and less they saw each other
for one reason or another,
and they began to grow apart.

She’s concerned,
but he reminds her
“true love can withstand anything.”
