Made For You

Made For You

A Poem by Rachael
"

Something I realized, then denied, then realized again.

"
Where are you, my sweetest love?

Is there nothing else for me to dream of?

Day in, day out, a mess of you,

Clouding my mind in shades of blue.

Come clean, my dear, it's in you still,

That wild flame we sought to kill,

To fend off these feelings, what good, what need?

To alter fate, steer off our course, try to intercede?

It's me for you, you for me, just as we realized, always.

Though I understand why you left me here, weeping in your doorway.

I left, let go, tried moving on too,

But, God help me, I was made for you.
