Be still my loved one just take a breath

Your problems will still be there, enjoy the zest

You are exhausted and frustrated you need to relax

One day you’ll come to realize these days were your best

You can’t hit every curve ball life throws your way

You can’t control when something falls apart or even why

You can’t predict the events of the coming of days

Please just count your blessings as your days pass by

The bad in your life just provides extra detail to your mold

Helping you to grow so please accept with open arms

With bad there must always be good in this silly life of ours

Please lover of mine do not set off the alarms

Lover dearest, smile for me the way you used to do

Laugh, joke, play with me, enjoy each day anew

So put down your pencil and take another breath

We can tackle this later, but for now I just want to be with you

I never saw a self-help motivational poetry book but i think your poems can really fit into that category....Your poem speaks of something very important for us.....Life is a process of trial and error, ups and downs, we can't see what is ahead of us or what tomorrow holds for us, but we can at least do our best today and enjoy what blessings we have today.....Life's true beauty can only be found in the things we already have in our life and not worrying about the future because except God no one knows the future.....Full ratings.....All thumbs up!!!!!

Beautifully said and thought. Even amidst the chaos of life, we should always take time to appreciate what we truly have, to which we hold most dear. As you so beautifully said, we can look for the perfect tomorrow, just don't forget about the pretty good today. I love the positivity and inspirational mantra type feel of this piece. Superb.
