Nighttime is My time

Nighttime is My time

A Poem by Rachael Lea

Blankets of black sparkled in dust

Finding beauty eyes seemingly adjust

Gently rolling over rippling tranquility

Heavens and earth meeting like nobility

Music playing filled with a consonance

Filling the air with peace and abidance

Time seemingly still filled with such serenity

Filling the soul with much needed amenity

Blankets of black sparkling with dust

Bring forth beauty for thine eyes to adjust

Very good. I liked the imagery of the blanket and dust. The rhyming scheme was interesting and repeating the first two lines book-ended the poem. Good read.
