I'm scared

I’m scared to be alone
Because I know the darkness is not far behind
I’m scared to seen the mirror
Because I have transformed into a woman of a different kind

I’m scared to see the light of day
Or hear a baby’s cry
I know that the pain I find within
Makes me want to die

I see how life has taken its toll
On my spirit ,mind , and  heart
I know I need to see the truth
But I don’t know where to start
