Blind

Blind

A Poem by Ran
"

For what reason do I need vision when I was born without it?

"
Tell me what you see,
dark mist of spirits,
misguided and misled,
sprays of rainbow...an endless bridge
untied bows of dreams
unsure and unseen

Tell me what you see,
hounds and dogs howling
breaking the dawn of silence
black parade of ghosts;
returning to earth
a poised sleep

I see,
the reflected pool at the ceiling's corner;
swimming fishes of white and amber
the dried flower,
from the rainy winter
your strong back that drifted in slumber
the colorless dance
of the wind chime

I see...
the falling leaves of a dying tree
casting shadows over you and me
footprints on the sand,
on the dusty dry lawn
knowing you just came back home

in these closed eyes,
i see
you
a smile that renders perfection
the only perfect reason
to ever want the perfect vision

If you have the third eye and still be blind...the frustration is at most when you can't see your beloved...don't you think?
