In a moment of desperation: the little streak on the wallpaper, the fly on the ceiling, the carpet glue separating from the floor, the position of the doorknob in relation to Jupiter, the branch against the window, the atmospheric pressure, water pools evaporating underneath the car, the meal in the frying pan, the flickering light bulb, the succumbing to hatred, vices, the picture working itself from the nail on the wall, the brewing hurricane, the electric storm on the other side of the globe, the person pondering a telephone call never made and the history of trillions of bytes of information processed at once determining an outcome and escape from the momentary riddle without answer. And everything at once is attainable, though never fully constructed
