Independence :)

Independence :)

A Poem by Vani Jalagar

Vande Maataram ………………..

We sing the national anthem,

Expressing the pride and proud,

Saluting the freedom fighters

Holding the tri-colored flag,

Signifying peace and sovereignty,

Liberty, integrity and fraternity

This is Indians prayer to Mother India,

Country’s rich heritage and prosperity,

Would stay evergreen until eternity,

Vivid culture, religion and customs,

Would nurture in every feature.

Vande Maatram,

Jai hind……………….

Nice patriotic Poem on our independence day ,Thank You ............

But We remember our National Flag only twice a year , one on independence day & next on republic day , The Real independence for our nation comes when we our country is corrupt free & ruled a proper governance.

Anyways , I feel proud to be Indian , Long Live India , Jai Hind..............

You are welcome...:)
A beautiful patriotic tribute to your country and it's people! Never been to India (maybe someday) but I love the many different, rich, diverse culture and traditions of your people, the wildlife, the many contrasting habitats found within and of course like me, you all love cricket !

Wonderful eulogy to your homeland !

Need to have a video. I would love to hear the song. Good to celebrate freedom. Freedom is missed when it is gone. I hope you enjoy the day celebrating Mother India. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
