Why Fate Waits ?

Why Fate Waits ?

A Poem by Rasi Rana

God, You see the truth but waits
for what you wait?
and why such a long wait?
why's your justice pending till next life?
why not in this life?
why?
To check my real friends and foes?
if so
then why  don't you add time
to fix up the existing rhyme
why such a long time?
Is my Question wrong?
Am I just addicted to speed 'cause of this new age?
or some rage after reading Leo Tolstoy?

Why such a long wait?
You see the truth but waits
You know the reality, still You wait
Why such a long wait?
'cause its in my fate?
but who wrote it?
Me or You?
or its just my Faith which no longer can wait?
yet to see the real court of Yours

Now you may say I'm furious
but I'm just a little bit curious
want to know
and I know You will let Me know
Evil got to go
and please, all in single show
don't matter where it is
either on the real stage or back stage
I'll wait on my new page.

This is a very real quandary in my life as well, and I feel it is a very good way you have developed the theme! It certainly is a very central idea in any honest man's heart, the question of when to meet our fate! Why, why DO we wait? Every fiber of our being seems to shriek that we must take control ourselves, but it seems this is something no one may control! It truly is in the hands of God, or the gods, or the divine. I actually find myself envious of those who find a cause at the last moment in the worst of circumstances, who save a child from a burning building before dying of asphyxiation. Is it weird I think, "Lucky devils!!" when I hear about things like that?! We all want our lives to mean something, and yet the meaning of our lives eludes us. Why? I conjecture it has something to do with not being able to see from the correct perspective. I think if you could look at your whole life from the point of view of the end, and then trace it back towards the beginning, you would be quite proud of what you accomplished. It is the direction we are forced to head in, where so many different paths seem to open up away from us, that is so frustrating and confusing. You have elaborated on this well I wish I knew what more to add, but it is a great theme to develop for sure!!

Wow! I just reviewed this and my review seems to have disappeared!! I am shocked and confused. To summarize though, I feel you have done a terrific job at explaining a very important theme in all our lives!!! I am very glad you found the words to develop such a noble idea. Please forgive my frustration at losing my earlier much more well worded comment!!!

I find this poem interesting since it reflects about how everyone goes in life. It's a great view of how we generally are. Again some grammatical errors can be pointed out. But good job though.

This is a very thought provoking piece.Who makes our fate god or us ?Is it already preordained? Is our destiny a foregone conclusion? When will we have our answers to these questions? In this life or the next? This is the truth so many questions so little answers.I really like it:)
