Cyber Stalker

Cyber Stalker

A Poem by Raven Starhawk

Midnight’s dismal smoke interlaced about me

Discarded and somnolent I linger along a beaten path

As I listen to a spiteful connoisseur

Whose annotations are a haunted whine

And enthralling my reservations like a felony

She materializes to embezzle my song

In her haughtiness she advocates how I am erroneous

Mistaken about what though?  I dare query

My question’s retort was an arduous chore

For words stuck in her throat like rotted meat

And I realized compassion was her enigma

As her individual was a contaminated filament

While she stalks in world of cyber

Have mercy with this. I wrote it when I was very tired and worn out physically, mentally and emotionally. UPDATE: I have edited it a little bit, but realize it needs more work. Thanks to everyone who has read and commented! I also made it not rhyme so much. XD
